Good places to farm runes?? - Guild Wars Forums

I was wondering where some decent places to farm runes are? The only place I really know about is Riverside and it's really hardly even worth it to farm runes there anymore. I realize no one is going to post there uber secret spots here, but maybe someone could tell me some other commonly known places/runs that are a little better then riverside. At the very least I'd like somewhere to go for a change of pace. My build is a basic Smiting Monk build (Zealots Fire ,Balthazars Spirit,Symbol of Wrath,Healing Hands, etc..) so keep that in mind when suggesting areas.

Also if someone is feeling extra kind they can always PM me some good locations

You could like.. look at all the farming threads.. Theres about TEN THOUSAND of them now.

I have and the problem with them is that there are usually MAYBE 1 or 2 places named and they are usually for either gold or something other then runes.

all the commonly known farming spots either arent that great or get nerfed in the next patch do some exploring on your own youll find them in time

noone says where they are anymore because they dont want to get them nurfed. look for things that drop armor.

Are the farming areas nerfed based on how often ArenaNet finds them mentioned? Does ANet test it themselves to find out which spots to nerf?

Say if many people find a really great place to farm, and they really don't want it to be nerfed (I don't want farming to disappear from Guild Wars

) then as long as no one talks about it, then it won't get nerfed? Or will ANet find out sooner or later and definitely nerf it?

I'm pretty sure that Anet will not look to these posts as much as look at there own servers and track numbers per map.

If they see that Map A ... last week averaged 30,000 hits a day ... but this week has noticeably been marked up to average of 75,000 ... they will nerf the treasure for a month or so
